We will create a 3D model of your item. This then can be used for assemblies, weight analysis, size evaluation and 3D printing, turning your item into a working prototype or end product.
Materials can be added to get a feel for the way your product will look. This can also be used to get an estimation of strength, and weight.
The item is then printed using the determined slicing parameters. We will remove all support structure and evaluate your item making sure that it meets our quality standards. You will then be informed that your item has been produced before we send it out to you. If your item prints out poorly we will make the necessary changes and re-print it at no extra cost.
We also offer a finishing package which included sanding and painting, so that your item is smooth and has that high shine new look (or matt if you require).
A very crucial stage in the 3D printing process is 'Slicing'.
Slicing turns the 3D model into layers that allow the printer to successfully print your product. The software allows you to change the vertical resolution from 0.3mm to 0.08mm giving you low or high quality prints that match your needs. We can also determine how hollow the product is, whether that is 100% solid or completely hollow. Support generation is also done at this stage. Once our technicians are happy with the slice, printing can take place.
